What To Expect…

Phase 1

Excavation Consultation

After we have a general idea of your project and an end goal, we will come out to your property and take some necessary measurements of the area where the project will take place. These measurements are to get an accurate amount of material and time needed for the project. That away we can give you the most accurate quote possible. Unfortunately with excavation it’s not like going to the store to pick up a gallon of milk. For example, a repaired driveway at one house may take an entirely different approach, time, amount and type of material than a different property would. That’s why there is not a set price for “driveway repair.” Nobody likes getting a quote from a contractor and then at the end getting hit with an additional unspecified amount. Hence why we like to get the measurements up front before giving a price so there is no surprises.

Phase 2

After we have decided on a date and you are ready to pull the trigger the exciting part begins. If it is taking place near buried utilities we will contact (811) Call Before You Dig. After utilities have been marked equipment will begin to show up and the project will commence. During this process we will keep you updated on the progress of the project. Also there may be “underlying” challenges that pop up. Some of these challenges are weather related where the ground gets too saturated during the rainy season to where work has to be postponed. Other challenges are literally dug up such as previous owners bury pits that may contain organic and or non organic material that has to be removed in order to provide a solid base. During this phase is when you may start to get additional ideas about location, size and general lay of the project. Do not hesitate to communicate these ideas. We are happy to make the necessary adjustments and accommodations to make it happen.

Phase 3

Final grading yard

As we approach the completion of your project, it is important to take a moment to pause and appreciate the accomplishment that has been achieved. The time put in to planning, dedication, and collaboration have culminated in a successful outcome that reflects the hard work of everyone involved. This completed project serves as a testament to the effective communication and teamwork that made it all possible. Take this opportunity to admire what has been created, acknowledging the challenges that were overcome together and celebrating the milestones reached along the way. This moment is not just a conclusion, but a stepping stone that inspires confidence for future projects.
